1. Who we are

ARBITORIA is an information website that compares jobs, salaries, and cost-of-living across six countries (United States, Korea, Japan, France, Spain, Belgium) using government primary statistics. The site is operated independently and is hosted on Cloudflare Pages at https://salaire-plus.com/.

2. What data we collect — directly

We do not require accounts. We do not collect your name, email, or financial information. The only data stored on your device by ARBITORIA itself is in your browser's localStorage under the namespace arbitoria.*:

• arbitoria.lang — your selected display language (ko, en, fr, nl, es, ja).
• arbitoria.preferred-country — your selected country.
• arbitoria.cookie-consent — whether you have accepted or declined optional cookies.
• arbitoria.bookmarks — pages you have bookmarked locally.

This data never leaves your browser. It is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can clear it any time via your browser settings.

3. What data third parties may collect

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy practices:

• Google AdSense — displays ads. May use cookies and your IP to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. Google Ads policy.
• Google Analytics (when enabled) — measures aggregate page views. We configure IP anonymization. Google privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — hosts the site and may log requests for security and performance. Cloudflare privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — serves typography. May log IP. Google Fonts privacy.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. ARBITORIA uses cookies in these categories:

5. Personalized advertising (EEA / UK / Switzerland)

ARBITORIA is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you may have the right to: access the data held about you, correct it, delete it, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser's storage. For third-party data (Google, Cloudflare), use their respective privacy controls.

8. Data retention

We retain no personal data on our servers. Localstorage on your device persists until you clear it. Cloudflare logs are retained per Cloudflare's policy. Google services retain data per Google's policy.

9. International transfers

The site is served via Cloudflare's global CDN. Cloudflare and Google may process data outside your country. Both rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for EU transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
